Although I still think there are walls, I also believe that all walls are, in actuality, doors.

With the speed that technology moves these days it will be very interesting indeed to see how film stories assimilate and morph. I find myself already bored with the layers and the current style of storytelling. And as I twitter my next screenplay how much of it will you take in? Are are brains expanding or are they getting lazy. What happens when we don’t need ‘technology’ to create our images and stories any longer… now that’s what I’m talking about.

I’m reminded of that scene from 500 Days of Summer where we see the parallel screens of Reality vs. Expectation. I thought it was brilliant — and perhaps only effective because of our “modern brains.”
