With the recent release of The Dark Knight Rises there has been an avalanche of interviews unleashed onto the web. This one is in my view the most interesting, as it addresses among other things the tone of Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

Karel Segers wrote his first produced screenplay at age 17. Today he is a story analyst with experience in acquisition, development and production. He has trained students worldwide, and worked with half a dozen Academy Award nominees.
