Director George Miller has made 10 films in 36 years – and four of them are about The Road Warrior. He discusses the changing landscape of cinema, the challenges of finding creative material in a franchised sequel, the extraordinary advantages conferred by advancing cinematic technology, and the euphoric purity of the chase scene.
